You are Healed in Jesus Name

To receive healing in any area of your life; family, health, finance and relationship that had gone bad, you need the healing of Christ. Healing from God requires that you are cleansed from all forms of iniquities. Once you receive forgiveness of sin from God, and you have faith in God for your breakthrough, then you are a candidate for God’s miracle.

In Matthew 9:2 “Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus probably knew that the paralyzed man was sick because of his sins; sin causes sickness, diseases and stagnation.

A Real Man of God Don't Need to Slap or Flog a Demon-Possessed Person to Deliver Them!

In a Yoruba movie I saw yesterday some white-garment church members while trying to deliver an assumed demon-possessed girl, flogged the girl continuously for hours without casting anything out. Its so funny how people would assume that beating will deliver someone of demons!

Many White-garment churches and non- white garment churches and even some great men of God use physical force on members to deliver them from demons or witchcraft. It is a know practice among many spiritual outlets, particularly in Africa.

You remember the story of a Reverend in Nigeria that used fire to burn his members as punishment to deliver them from adultery? Of recent there was a serious controversy about a man of God who slapped a girl in the church for allegedly being a witch!

You Need Faith to Overcome

Anyone can find themselves in an unpleasant situation. A temporary set-back in business or in career and even health. I say temporary because everyone is expected to overcome all unpleasant situations in their life.

Some preachers think a Christian is not supposed to be ill, or even have a little financial problem or small set-back in business. Common! Anyone can be attacked but everyone who is attacked is expected to come out safely. It takes faith for you to come out of crisis without bruises.

In the Book of Matthew 8: 23-27 Jesus having preached all day was tired and while in the boat returning home with his disciples fell asleep.

“Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Matthew 8: 24-25

Being tired here can connote a situation where you have worked so hard and not yielding results become tired. When tired, you are weak and unable to work, in such situations when problems comes you may not have the capacity to handle it because you are already tired.

Hard Work and Focus are the Prerequisites to Success

Before you can achieve success in any field of endeavor in life, you must be hardworking and have a total commitment to your goals and dreams.

For you to achieve greatness, you must be committed to, and focused on your goals and dreams, be it a career, talent or business.

I am not just saying this because I don’t want you to believe the Prosperity Preachers; no I am telling you this so that when a prosperity preacher tells you that you will become rich by December and you have faith that it will happen yet you don’t have anything you are doing right now, then you’d better watch out!

What is Wrong in Giving Gifts to Men of God?

Giving gifts like cars, money or anything good even houses to men of God is not bad. What is bad is for a man of God put over the resources of a church or an organization to be dipping hands into the resources for his personal use.

I have heard many people criticize pastors for taking gifts, but I don’t see anything wrong in that. A man of God who prophecies over your life and you receive favor and good things from God and men deserves to be given gifts by you. The amount of what you give to your pastor depends on how much you also have and can afford to give out!

All You Need For It to Happen, is to Believe! (Matthew 8:5-13)

In the book of Matthew 8 from verse 5 to 13 we read the story of a Roman officer whose servant was paralyzed and needed Jesus to come and heal the servant.

The Roman officer had already created one of the most important atmosphere for the healing to take place, he has already believed.

The Roman officer then took his second step for the healing to take place, he approached Jesus (approaching Jesus is "seeking", or "knocking", in Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened".) and the man said to Jesus, “Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.

Jesus said, ‘I will come and heal him’. But the officer said, ‘Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home- just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed” Matthew 8:6-8
